Greetings from VidCon where #Lisa has the time of her life despite the realization that she’s not yet “YouTube famous”. Day 1 highlights include running into Gerald ‘Slink’ Johnson AKA Black Jesus, Tay Zonday and VidCon’s Jim Louderback, who gives us a recap of YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki’s Industry Track key note and shares his excitement about VR.

We’re going to VidCon!

#Lisa put together her VidCon survival kit at Sundays on Telegraph where she found quirky outfits from Mars Mercantile and Buffalo Exchange, wacky pins from ZiZi Buttons’ pop-up shop and she also got book recommendations at Moe’s Books for the first ever VidCon Book Swap hosted by Kristina Horner and Jenn Godwin.

Sundays on Telegraph is happening Noon to 5 every Sunday, July 19 through August 30.First hour free in the Telegraph-Channing Garage.

#Berkeley: Salsa Sundays

Ruth Caspary of Latin Connection Dance shares her tips for dancing in the streets at Downtown Berkeley’s FREE Eats, Beats & Brews: Salsa Sundays, Berkeley’s hottest block party happening every 3rd Sunday now through October, 12pm-6pm. Arrive by 1:15pm for a complimentary beginning Salsa lesson with Ruth!

Enjoy free live music from local and internationally touring salsa bands, local food from over 15 vendors and a beer garden from Drakes Brewing.

Games of Berkeley will be taking over part of the street for a Locally Grown Games Day where everyone can come meet game developers, try out new games and celebrate modern gaming.
